Extractions

Tooth extraction means removing a tooth from the mouth.

If all options have been explored and a tooth is not able to be saved, tooth extraction may be the only treatment option available. For instance, if a tooth is decayed or damaged beyond repair, it may be necessary for the extraction of the tooth to help maintain the overall health of the mouth.

For younger adults regarding wisdom tooth extraction, we are happy to do those as well especially if they are causing pain to neighbouring teeth or headaches for the patient.

Below is an image of an impacted wisdom tooth (horizontally impacted) which was removed as a consequence of pain it was inflicting on the neighbouring second molar.
